Tim made his directorial debut with the short film Terminus, which he also wrote and produced on a zero budget. The film earned positive reviews, with critics calling it “a showcase on what can be achieved with a very thin budget and some creative thinking” (The Review Geek, 2021) and “an effective drama which mirrors the real world in so many ways” (Film Threat, 2021).

From there, Tim wrote and directed his first feature Nowhere. The film enjoyed a successful festival run, winning multiple awards, including Best Director (Monaco International Film Festival, 2023) and Best First Time Filmmaker (Montreal Independent Film Festival, 2024).
