After starting out as a journalist, Tim shifted focus to screenwriting, penning several shorts before completing the screenplay for his debut feature Nowhere.
Since then, Tim has written three features, including the drama Pieces of Us, which has been hailed as “…a quiet achievement, an independent film that deserves championing from everyone who loves cinema” (Life in the Dark, 2025). The film is currently on its festival run.
From there, Tim was commissioned to write the screenplay for the feature Being Frank, an emotionally charged drama tackling themes of mental health and neurodiversity. The film is in pre-production, slated to film autumn 2026.
Recently, Tim was tapped to write the pilot for an animated TV series based on the popular Mew character IP. The show is in development.
His latest work, a feature-length screenplay entitled Dragonflies was greenlit and is scheduled to begin shooting in the summer of 2026.
In addition to his spec work, Tim is available for writing commissions. Get in touch to discuss a potential collaboration.
“Tim’s script for Down really resonated with me — I was drawn into the world and intrigued from the very first page. Tim’s writing felt raw, honest, and deeply human. It was bold, intimate, and, most importantly, real. The nuance and emotional depth of the characters, the way silence was used so powerfully, and how impactful the dialogue became when it was used — all of it created this tension and tenderness that stayed with me. I knew straight away it was a story I wanted to bring to life.”
– Ben Rogers, Director of ‘Down’
“Working with Tim on the screenplay for Being Frank was an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding collaboration. Tim brought a high level of professionalism and experience to the project – communicating clearly, meeting deadlines reliably, and approaching the project with a strong understanding of what makes a screenplay structurally sound and commercially viable. Tim’s ability to listen, digest, and turn creative notes into a solid screenplay made him a hugely valuable contributor to the project, delivering a script that is emotionally rich, true to life, and wholly original. It’s clear Tim had a unique voice with a deep understanding of character, and I have no doubt his work will continue to resonate on screen and beyond.“
